What is V-Academy?

V-Academy is established to enhance the skill set of the employees through a list of course. The courses are designed to equip the employees adequately to move up the career ladder or migrate to a more complex role in a different department.

Who can apply?

  1. Those who wish to get promotion in the current department.
  2. Those who wish to upskill themselves to a complex role in other departments.
    3. Note: Migration to other department is not guaranteed, it will be done only in case of availability of opportunity.

What are the benefits of completing the course?

Upon successful completion of the course, the employees will be eligible for promotion in the same department or they will qualify to move to a new department in a more complex role. This will enable employees to elevate in their career and also receive significant hike in their remuneration.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The employee must be a permanent employee (not serving a notice period).
  • A minimum of one year of service is required for enrollment in long-term courses.
  • A minimum of three months of service is required for enrollment in short-term courses.
  • The employee must demonstrate satisfactory performance in the current role.
  • Attendance must be above 90% over the last three months.
  • No disciplinary action should have been taken or recorded (no CIR in the past six months).
  • An added advantage will be given to employees who have received incentives for attendance and performance.
  • An added advantage will be given to employees who have submitted Kaizen initiatives.
